Goway Travel has a dedicated team of staff that have been with the company for an average tenure of over 7 years per employee, with a number of employees having reached over 12 years of service. As part of our staff development program, we currently provide opportunities for cross cultural staff exchanges between either Goway North America or our existing customers and would be able to extend this offer to any partner. We find this experience to be very beneficial and educational for the staff members. It also builds a stronger relationship and better understanding of the business between companies and develops enduring partnerships.
Kathy’s travel industry experience spans over 25 years across Australia and New Zealand, and includes time in the motorhome industry, e-commerce and online travel agencies, as well as extensive Inbound Tour Operator experience. A current Board member of ATEC (Australian Tourism Export Council), Kathy joined Goway in November 2018, with a view to taking the business into the future where a world of dynamic pricing and tech connectivity awaits. A native Kiwi, Kathy speaks fluent German and good French.
Graziella joined Goway in 2002 as Product & Business Development Manager. She has over thirty years’ experience in the tourism industry in Australia and overseas. She has had extensive experience in different fields including; overseas wholesalers, retail agents, airlines, inbound tour operators and as a language tour guide. She brings to Goway a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm.
Originally a Kiwi native, Jan joined Goway in 2018 as Operations Manager. Jan has extensive operations experience, having worked for many leading tourism wholesalers in Australia. Jan brings a wealth of experience to Goway and is passionate about building resilient and quality teams and implementing operational support structures. She powers the gears in the operational engine room that ensures smooth processes for both clients and agent partners. Jan loves exploring Australia and getting over to New Zealand too.
Ghila joined Goway Inbound in Sydney as Groups & Incentives Manager in 2007, she has over twenty years experience in the tourism industry in Australia. Her background includes FIT inbound, creating exciting incentive programmes and special interest itineraries in Australia and New Zealand for international businesses and incentive houses. She was also Assistant Director of Events at the Shangri-la Hotel Sydney. Ghila has fresh and bright ideas for any group or incentive programme.
Chris joined the Goway team as Business Development Manager in 2010. After graduating from the University of New South Wales with an International Studies Degree, he worked for a leading Australian & New Zealand motorhome rental company and played an active role in sales, marketing and customer service. Chris is passionate about creating long-lasting and meaningful business relationships, speaks fluent German, and from his direct customer experience, appreciates the expectations of a discerning European market. Chris is passionate about the future of Australian tourism and is a current NSW Branch Committee member of ATEC (Australian Tourism Export Council).
Sara is a passionate Italian and loves travelling and has been an integral part of the Goway team since joining in 2011. Her passion for travel goes back to her childhood and is captivated and intrigued by different cultures. The very same passion brought her to pursue her carrier in tourism following the completion of her studies at the University of Tourism in Milan. Sara has worked for leading tour operators in Europe, has lived in many different countries and speaks Italian, Spanish, French and English fluently. She has broad tourism knowledge and appreciates the diverse needs of clients, having also been a guide. Sara has been based in Australia for over 10 years and is passionate about her agents and ensuring our mutual clients have the best possible experience on their travel to Australia and New Zealand.
Jeremy joined Goway Inbound in 2019 as Accounts Manager. He is a Certified Practising Accountant with 10 years’ experience in the tourism industry in Australia. Jeremy is a keen traveller and has seen much of Australia, and has a love of travel to South-East Asia. Jeremy looks forward to exploring Western Australia, North America, Myanmar, and dreams of a Safari in South Africa. Life is all about travel and growth; experiencing both the familiar and the unfamiliar, discovering new destinations and experiences that gives you a unique and personal experience that shapes you as a person. Jeremy was born and raised in Suzhou China and speaks native Mandarin.
