Situated near Renmark in a particularly beautiful and yet little-known region of South Australia, The Frames nestles with charm along the banks of the Murray River. The luxury accommodation offers a unique opportunity to discover a picturesque landscape that remains a well-kept secret. Each of its three retreats boasts a private pool, spa, and a balcony with breathtaking views.

Note : Suggest your clients to combine The Frames with other luxury accommodation like The Louise in the Barossa Valley, Sequoia Lodge in the Adelaide Hills, or Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island, to optimize your clients' stay in South Australia. Check out their 2, 3 and 4 night fully inclusive packages on the Goway Portal.

As Australia’s longest and largest river system, the mighty Murray flows through this region, offering an unparalleled natural playground. Riverland towns like Waikerie, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, Barmera, and Morgan show that this region has an abundance of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. It is here, along the Murray River, that The Frames has established itself. "It is one of the most enjoyable luxury experiences I have ever done", says Graziella Caruso, Head of Product at Goway Travel. "The accommodation is amazing and there is so much to do in the area that I recommend a 3 night stay to make the most of it."

In the authentic beauty of this superb region, your journey can begin with a relaxing massage in complete privacy, letting your balance be restored at the hands of experienced therapists, who will know exactly how to support you.

Sensory Delight

More than just accommodation, The Frames offers a range of experiences like a Sunset Gondola Cruise, a Wetland & Wildlife Safari, an eco-cultural tour, or even a Flavour Safari to enjoy the diversity of Riverland food production, enabling you to taste, smell, and learn about an array of products. Driving you around in a private, air-conditioned vehicle, a guide will take you to meet local growers, brewers, winemakers, and other producers. Not to forget, a lunch to enjoy at one of the tasteful local eateries.

In the evening, a 2-hour sunset cruise with sparkling wine and cheese platter is a perfect way to end the day in a restored 100-year-old wooden gondola, experiencing the river like a local with a guided tour through creeks and wetlands showcasing the wildlife and birdlife of the region.

Dinner under the stars

In those romantic and luxurious retreats for couples, in-villa dining is part of the experience. Guests can choose from two or three-course meals from a seasonal menu and have meals delivered or a head chef will make them at their retreat. The other option is to utilize the outdoor kitchen to get gourmet BBQ provisions ready to cook and serve.

As the night is falling, starts a spectacular sky show as the Riverland’s dry climate and cloudless skies produce in that part of Australia phenomenal stargazing. That’s why the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve - Australia’s first Dark Sky Reserve and one of only 15 in the world – settled close by.

To enjoy it in an innovative way, The Frames launched this year a new accommodation experience: a Luxury Outback Glamping “to view the world’s greatest lightshow under the stars” in the surrounding outback.

An eco-cultural experience

An eco-cultural tour at Calperum Station is another great experience, taking guests through a variety of ecosystems, guided by Indigenous rangers and ecologists, learning about the history of the area and its abundance of flora and fauna. It's a unique opportunity to discover ecosystems that have been around for millennia in places Lake Woolpolool, Lake Merreti, and the surrounding area, which holds significant Aboriginal cultural values; and to learn about Canoe trees, ring trees, and ancient ovens, as well as about an abundance of fauna and bird species (some threatened), which can be observed and studied. It's time to also enjoy a homemade local Salt Bush Damper with Quandong Jam for morning tea and later relax by Ral Ral Creek to have lunch and drinks.
